Walker Learning Study Tours are a "must do" for educators and leadership who are wanting to implement a holistic and personalised play - based pedagogy.


This one-day tour visits a purpose built 21st Century school that is implementing a whole school approach to personalised and individualised learning K- 6. 

Observe communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking among students; gain ideas on 21st Century learning environments; how to implement new learning strategies and understand more about the Walker Learning pedagogy across Kindy to Year 2.

This session includes an introductory presentation of the key elements of Walker Learning in the early years including :

tuning in,
the learning environment
focus children, 
reporter and photographer.

​There will also be opportunities to view the years 3-6 learning environments and for participants to discuss aspects of Walker Learning with educators and leaders at the school. The afternoon session examines and explains the theoretical and practical aspects of Walker Learning. 

This tour also intoduces documentation and planning that doesn’t take away your weekend or interrupt your interactions with children.

Lunch and morning tea provided.
