Literacy and Numeracy in Play-based Curriculum
This session provides a range of practical examples on how to embed intentional rich literacy and numeracy provocations in open-ended experiences for early childhood education.
Literacy and numeracy across birth to five years does not mean formal instruction , however providing literacy and numeracy experiences is essential during these early years.
A review of the Demonstration Unit and an extensive range of photos of play experiences and planning documents that incorporate literacy and numeracy, support this session.
