A fabulous session for educators who are new to or early in their Walker Learning journey.

This session is an introductory presentation of the key elements of Walker Learning in the early years including:

> The research and philosophy of Walker Learning
> How to set up the environment
> The explicit teaching and linking of literacy and numeracy
> The investigation session
> Linking to frameworks, planning and documentation, as well as implementation strategies for teams and schools

When conducted in Melbourne, this session also includes the opportunity to observe the Early Life Foundations (ELF) Demonstration Unit of play-based learning areas in order to gain practical ideas about learning centres, resources and materials.

Full or half-day customised Walker Learning introductory overview presentations for individual schools and centres can also be arranged by request. Contact the office on 03 9551 1900
