Walker Learning Study Tours are a "must do" for educators and leadership who are wanting to optimise young children's learning through a play-based pedagogy.


This one-day tour is a fabulous opportunity to view Walker Learning in the classroom alongside professional learning about the approach.

Walker Learning is an intentional teaching and learning approach for children in their early childhood to primary years. Internationally acclaimed and implemented for over 20 years across Australia, NZ, Asia and the UK.

 This tour provides the ideal mix of classroom observation underpinned by the theory and practical application of Walker Learning in Prep to Year 2.

Observe the key elements:

  • reporter and photographer
  • the learning environment  
  • reflection

There will also be opportunities for participants to discuss aspects of Walker Learning and implementation strategies with educators and leaders at the school. The afternoon session examines and explains the theoretical of Walker Learning.
