The importance of outdoor experiences for children in ECE is increasingly important as children have fewer and fewer opportunities to engage in outdoors in their everyday life.

A practical session on how to set up rich and engaging learning environments outdoors that includes provocations for learning through investigation. With the use of photos and demonstrations, the session provides a rich range of examples of how to add and use everyday materials within a realistic budget to assist children in their learning, engagement and exploration outdoors.
