It is extremely frustrating to see media fall over themselves ( obviously with a great marketing campaign by her publishers) to witness a parent claiming that harsh discipline, tough love, hours of extra curricula activities and practice every day is somehow both desirable and justifiable.
Does the means justify the end and what is the supposed wonderful end point? Being a concert pianist? Is that what success and quality of life is all about? As long as you are a celebrity and earn money then having a tough childhood is worth it?
Please is there anyone out there with some thoughts about this?
