I have been so sad to have our dear friend and colleague die last week from cancer. Meredith was an incredibly strong and resilient person who lived her life to the absolute fullest, including the past three years since her diagnosis and ongoing treatment for advanced breast cancer.
Her work with us, taking bookings and phone calls really helped the consultancy.
I knew Meredith from when she was a student at Swinburne University and I was a teacher. Over the years I have watched her son Scott grow into a young man, witnessed Meredith undertake further studies at Melbourne Uni and to become a Kindergarten teacher.
Meredith was a great support to many people, especially her family, nieces, nephews, siblings, etc.
Each afternoon, after work was finished for the day, I would call her to check in and see how the day was going. I will miss that end of day chat as I will miss the great contribution she made personally and professionally in my life.
