I have just spent the day at Stockdale Road Primary school. Such excellent examples of strong leadership, clear vision and great team work. The school has been working hard for the past 2.5 years to implement the Walker Learning Play and Project based teaching approach across all years, prep to grade 6.
I totally enjoyed the opportunity to work with such committed people.
The school also hosted an after school session for any staff from the region who wanted to learn more about the approach.
It was great to share ideas and talk through the approach for a couple of hours. I am so pleased so many schools are taking on board such great teaching and learning for their children. It takes real strength to reflect upon yourself as a teacher.
Stockdale staff seem to be really on their way.
